Hi!  I am an engineer at a national laboratory, with a doctorate in mechanical engineering.  Looking forward a few years toward retirement, I want to work with big cats, especially mountain lions (although I love all cats!).

I live in the US desert southwest and love it here!  Currently, I am taking vet tech classes so that I can work on research expeditions – where a team goes to collar or track big cats, I can go as a vet tech.  Locally, I work with wildlife groups to place trail cameras, collect scat, follow animal tracks, and generally learn how wildlife moves through natural pathways between mountain ranges and land in general.

My house is shared with my husband, my sister, a friend, three cats, and two dogs.  Yep, cats and dogs living together (in a Bill Murray voice)!
